Understanding veneers.
Veneers are very thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front surface of your teeth.
They are a versatile way to correct chips, close small gaps, mask stubborn discolouration or rebuild teeth that have worn down over the years. Because each veneer is made for you, we control the shape, size and colour precisely, so the result blends naturally with the rest of your smile.
Dr. Andy plans veneers with care, often using Digital Smile Design so you can preview the look before we start, and refining the details with a Spain-based smile designer. Preparation is kept minimal, removing only a little enamel where needed. Your custom shade is chosen to suit your face, giving you teeth that look bright and even without appearing false.

Consultation and preview
Dr. Andy assesses your teeth and discusses your goals, often previewing the proposed look digitally so you can see the result first.
Shade and design
We choose a custom shade to suit your face and plan the shape, refining the fine details with the Spain-based smile designer.
Gentle preparation
We prepare the teeth by removing only a small amount of enamel where needed, then take precise impressions or scans for your veneers.
Crafting your veneers
Your porcelain veneers are custom-made to the agreed design, while we may fit temporaries so you are never left without a smile.
Fitting and finishing
We check the fit and appearance with you, then bond the veneers securely and polish them for a natural, comfortable finish.

Not when they are done well. We choose a shade and shape to suit your face, so your veneers look natural. You approve the design before we begin.
Only minimally. We remove a small amount of enamel where needed so the veneer sits flush and natural. In some cases very little preparation is required at all.
With good care, porcelain veneers can last many years. Brushing, regular check-ups and avoiding habits like biting hard objects all help them last longer.
Veneers can improve the look of mildly uneven teeth, but they are cosmetic. For more significant misalignment, Dr. Andy may suggest Invisalign first, sometimes as part of a full Smile Design plan.
