What it is

Understanding teeth whitening.

Over time, coffee, tea, red wine and simply getting older leave teeth looking dull or yellowed.

Professional whitening uses a safe bleaching gel to gently lift these stains and lighten the shade of your teeth. Because it is supervised by a dentist, we can protect your gums, check that whitening suits you and get you a brighter result with real care.

We may whiten in the clinic, where a stronger gel is activated with a light for a noticeable lift in a single visit, or provide custom take-home trays you use over a couple of weeks, or combine both. Results vary from person to person and are not permanent, so occasional top-ups keep your smile looking its best.

The A M Dental difference

Brighter, and still believable.

Dentist-supervised whitening lifts years of staining safely — a noticeable, healthy-looking lift rather than a blinding one, in a single visit.

We clean the teeth and protect your gums and lips, so the whitening gel works only where it should and your mouth stays comfortable.

We apply the bleaching gel and, for in-office whitening, activate it with a light, or fit you with custom trays and gel to use at home.

04

Aftercare and Top-Ups

We share tips to reduce staining and manage any short-lived sensitivity, and let you know when a top-up will keep your smile bright.

Questions

Teeth Whitening, answered.

Yes, when supervised by a dentist. We check that your teeth and gums are healthy, protect the soft tissues and use whitening gels at safe, controlled concentrations.

Whitening is not permanent and results vary between people. With good care and the odd top-up, many people enjoy their brighter smile for a year or more.

Some people notice mild, temporary sensitivity that settles within a day or two. We can adjust the treatment and recommend products to keep you comfortable.

Whitening only lightens natural teeth, not crowns, veneers or fillings. If you have visible dental work, we will talk through how to get an even result.

We offer custom take-home trays with professional gel, which are safer and better fitted than shop-bought kits. We guide you through using them correctly.
