A M Dental began as the union of Dr. Andy Ooi and Dr. Mandy Loh — two dentists with different strengths and one shared conviction: that dentistry in Malaysia could feel warmer, clearer and far less intimidating than most people expect.
Dr. Andy brought a love of the technical craft; Dr. Mandy, the gift of making an anxious patient feel safe enough to finally get the care they'd put off for years.

Dr. Andy Ooi

More than ten years in clinical practice have taken Dr. Andy towards the parts of dentistry that reward patience and precision. His special interest is dental implantology; alongside it he carries out aesthetic smile makeovers planned through Digital Smile Design in collaboration with a smile designer based in Spain, so the result is agreed before any work begins. He is a certified Invisalign provider and also practises orthodontics with conventional braces and clear aligners.
Beyond the chair, he cares about the oral health of the wider public — speaking at schools to raise awareness, and using part of every consultation to explain how to keep the mouth healthy rather than simply treating what has already gone wrong.

Dr. Mandy is the director of A M Dental and its principal dentist. Her starting point is simple: a healthy set of teeth shapes far more of your life than most people realise, so the people in her chair are treated the way she would treat her own family — the best care she can give, explained plainly, without pressure or shame.
It shows most in the patients who had avoided dentists for years. A good number of them now tell her they are no longer afraid of the dentist at all, and keep coming back of their own accord — which she counts as the most rewarding part of the work. If that sounds like you, her answer is to just come in and let the clinic help you get past it.

Patients tend to describe Dr. Teresa the same way: gentle hands, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine interest in the person she is treating. As a certified Invisalign provider she works across aligners, braces and veneers, and her preference is always for modern, minimally invasive care that keeps as much of your natural tooth as possible. The aim is a smile that looks as though it was always yours.
She treats continuous learning as part of the job, keeping up with advances in technique and technology so that what she recommends is the best current option for your case — tailored to your mouth and your priorities, rather than a standard plan applied to everyone.

A M Dental holds Angel Aligner's Platinum Provider award for 2024/25, given in recognition of our experience with the system.
Alongside it we are a certified Invisalign provider, so when you come in for aligners we can plan your case with whichever system genuinely suits it — rather than the only one we happen to offer.
