Dental Implants.
A missing tooth doesn't have to stay missing. A dental implant rebuilds it from the root up, so you can bite, smile and speak with confidence again.

Understanding dental implants.
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed into your jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root.
Once it has healed and bonded with the bone, we attach a custom crown on top that is colour-matched to your natural teeth. The result looks, feels and functions like a real tooth, and it stands on its own without relying on the teeth beside it.
Dr. Andy plans every implant digitally, using scans to map your bone and nerves before placing the post with a guided approach. This careful planning means a more precise, predictable fit and a smoother recovery. Implants suit single gaps, several missing teeth, or as secure anchors for bridges and dentures that used to slip.
Built to last, placed with precision.
We plan every implant digitally, from the bone up, so your new tooth sits exactly where it should — stable, natural-looking and made to last for years, not months.

Is this right for you?
- Adults missing one or more teeth who want a permanent, natural-looking replacement
- People tired of a removable denture that slips, clicks or feels bulky
- Those wanting to avoid grinding down healthy neighbouring teeth for a bridge
- Patients with enough healthy jawbone, or open to a bone graft first
- Anyone in good general health seeking a long-lasting fix for a gap
What to expect, step by step.
Consultation and Scan
Dr. Andy examines your mouth and takes a 3D scan to assess your bone, plan the implant position digitally, and talk you through your options and costs.
Implant Placement
Under local anaesthetic, the titanium post is placed into your jawbone through a guided, minimally invasive procedure that most patients find far easier than expected.
Healing and Bonding
Over the next few months the implant fuses with your bone in a process called osseointegration, creating a strong, stable foundation for your new tooth.
Fitting the Crown
Once healing is complete, we take a fresh impression and attach your custom-made crown, checking the bite and shade until it blends seamlessly with your smile.
Dental Implants, answered.
The placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Most patients describe the following days as mild soreness, easily managed with simple painkillers.
From placement to final crown usually takes three to six months, as we allow proper time for the implant to bond with your bone. The wait is what makes the result so durable.
With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, implants can last many years and often a lifetime. The crown on top may occasionally need replacing over time.
That is common and usually solvable. Dr. Andy may recommend a bone graft to build up the area first, then place the implant once it has healed.
Implants stand on their own without affecting neighbouring teeth, and they help preserve your jawbone. We will honestly compare all options so you choose what suits you best.
